A year full of milestones
574 homes sold. 464 rented. 1 ,575 appraisals. Numbers that speak for themselves, but even more than that: stories that touch the heart. From families finding their dream home and young singles moving into their first apartment to entrepreneurs securing their ideal commercial space. Living Stone made it all possible. And all of this in the most popular regions of Flanders and Brussels.
The regions with the highest number of homes sold were:
Dilbeek ( including Groot-Bijgaarden, Itterbeek, Schepdaal, and Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle): green, accessible, and in high demand.
Leuven ( Heverlee, Kessel-Lo, Wilsele, Wijgmaal): a college town with family-friendly neighborhoods.
Hasselt: central, stylish, and booming.
Tienen: affordable, strategically located, and on the rise.
Brussels: dynamic and always relevant.
Whether it’s a cozy apartment in Wijgmaal or a spacious family home in Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle, Living Stone brings people and properties together.
In addition, we provided 1,575 property valuations. Our experts offered advice, analyzed the market, and guided owners every step of the way. A cup of coffee, honest advice, and a clear plan: that’s how we do real estate.
Online and offline impact
Our website attracted no fewer than 765,837 visitors looking for inspiration, tips, and dream homes. Positive reviews poured in—proof that our clients value our expertise. From sales to rentals and real estate consulting, Living Stone is committed to providing a 360° service, backed by a growing team full of talent and fresh ideas.
In addition, we had a stronger social media presence than ever before. We briefly became TikTok famous, racking up 251,500 views and 6,702 likes, and we welcomed more followers to our Instagram community. This way, we not only showcase homes and commercial properties, but also inspire our followers with real estate tips, trends, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of our team.
And it wasn’t just about the numbers. In 2025, we were once again named Real Estate Company of the Year. This recognition confirms that we are a reliable real estate partner who places a high priority on innovation, service, and passion.
New chapters, new opportunities
2025 was also a year marked by strategic moves. CEO Thomas Valkeniers handed the reins to COO Kristel Gils, who has served as Managing Director since August 2025. In addition, we established a close partnership with Altro Vastgoedgroep, with a merger planned for 2027. The result? One of the largest real estate groups in Flanders and Brussels, with 23 real estate agencies and 80–85 employees. Under the leadership of Kristel Gils, Living Stone continues to build a future-proof organization, with a strong focus on innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainable housing solutions.
Looking Ahead to 2026
2025 may have been an impressive year, but at Living Stone we’re already looking ahead. 2026 promises to be a year full of opportunities, growth, and innovation.
First and foremost, we will be working closely with Altro Vastgoed. This close collaboration lays the groundwork for a planned merger in 2027, which will make us one of the largest real estate groups in Flanders and Brussels. More expertise, more real estate offices, and greater impact—all of which translate into even better service for you. We remain a growing network of regionally based real estate agents.
But there’s also a lot going on behind the scenes… Our team is working on innovative tools and systems that will soon make your real estate experience even smoother and more inspiring. For now, we’re keeping our lips sealed.
